WHO WAS JOSE A. VASQUEZ

Jose Antonio Vasquez was born on May 3, 1969.

Jose's nickname was Grasshopper short for Grass.

Jose had a personality that would make your stomach hurt because of the laughter he inflicted upon you.

Grass had great  love and devotion for his future wife Susan,  his family, and friends.

He also loved those who were less fortunate than himself. Although Jose had a rough childhood he was determined to turn his life around.

On any given day you could find Jose making new friends with the people on the street corner, he never looked down on anyone. Jose had a deep desire to open a detox center to help people who needed love and care to fight their addictions.

Jose was given fentanyl in his marijuana without his consent. 

Jose was brought back to life and was transported to Yale New Haven hospital where he later was taken off of life support and died on August 4, 2021.
