About Grass day

Grass Day is a nonprofit organization sponsored by The House of Shunem Ministries that promotes Fentanyl awareness and we stress the slogan You are your brother and sister's keeper.

Since August of 2022, we have had an annual Grass Day on the 1st Saturday in August, at Cedar Street Park located in the Hill section of New Haven Ct.

We provide free food, music, and entertainment for children of all ages.

Grass Day provides information concerning substance abuse and we pass out Narcan kits to all who are in attendance.
